Sewell completes annex refurbishment
Sewell Construction has handed over the keys to a refurbished annex at Dorchester Primary School, following the completion of a £500,000 improvement works programme.
Winfred Holtby Academy, who own the Dorchester School annex building and occupy it as a practical teaching space, secured an Academies Capital Maintenance Fund (ACMF) grant to refurbish the building. The Academy opted to use Hull City Council’s pre-procured delivery vehicle, Esteem, to design and project manage the scheme.
Principal contractor Sewell was appointed to carry out the works on behalf of Esteem. The site team carried out essential maintenance to the roof, windows and doors, as well as cosmetic improvements internally to give the space a better look and feel throughout.
