Townend Court refurbishment, Humber Teaching NHS FT

Reconfiguration

Sewell Construction is pleased to be working at Townend Court, supporting Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and Citycare in delivering essential schemes.

Over the years we have delivered various projects at Townend Court for the Trust that support their wider estates strategy with their focus on continuing to provide excellent patient and staff facilities.

This latest project involves extension and refurbishment work to two areas of the facility, the first to the former County Ward which is going to become flexible staff workspaces and free up clinical space elsewhere. The second, a small extension and light refurbishment to the Beech Ward improving the layout and increasing functionality for patients and staff.

Townend Court is a very busy site which houses a number of different services and it is important that construction activity does not disrupt day to day operations. We have an experienced team on site delivering the work to ensure a smooth delivery.

The project includes:

County Ward

  • Upgrade of the mechanical and electrical systems;
  • Internal structural alterations to make best use of the space;
  • Full internal refurbishment with new flooring, ceilings, internal doors and decorations.

Beech Ward

  • Construction of an extension;
  • Alterations to a number of internal rooms;
  • External fencing works.

The project is due to complete in November.
