The breakfast series, to be held at Sewell Studio in Hull, will cover new and reviewed legislation, details about possible fees as a result of intervention in your workplace from the Health and Safety Executive, Management of critical incidents  and Occupational Health best practice.

Richard Greaves, Sewell Group Director, will be delivering the first seminar on 11th October, focusing on the costly fees should the HSE need to intervene in your organisation. He said:

“I’m looking forward to kicking off the first of this series of seminars in October; I hope it’ll provide a good insight into this area of business, along with best practice tips and hopefully some healthy debate.”

“Health, safety and legal compliance plays a crucial role in how every good business operates. Get it right and it’s extremely beneficial; it can drive better performance and increase efficiencies whilst giving you peace of mind that everything is in order. But get it wrong and the results are costly.”

“Prosecution charges, coupled with new HSE fees, lost time, loss of productivity, plus reputational damage are just a few of the impacts, on top of the cost and time then needed to put it right.”

In the first seminar I’ll be helping you understand fees for intervention,  how it could affect your business and then provide guidance on the things you can do  to ensure you’re adhering to the legislation so it doesn’t come to this.”

Arrival and breakfast is from 7.30am. The seminar will run from 8am-9am. To book your free place email services@sewell-group.co.uk.
